I love ravioli, what is not to love?! It's pasta and cheese together, my two favorite things, yum! When it comes to Sunday and Monday I usually want something easy and usually want something completely yummy. So I figured from now on I would make them my comfort food days and my easy recipes. This recipe will last both my Husband and I two nights and it was by the far one of the easiest meals to make.
Ingredients:
(1) bag of frozen ravioli ( I used Spinach and Ricotta)
(1) jar of marinara Sauce
(1) bag (2 cups) of shredded mozzarella Cheese
Parmesan cheese
Dried Basil
Directions:
First heat the oven to 400 degrees. Spray 9 x 13 baking dish with cooking spray.
Use 3/4 cup of sauce to spread on the bottom of dish. Arrange half of the ravioli in a single layer over the sauce; top with half of the remaining sauce and then 1 cup of cheese. Repeat layers one more time, starting with ravioli, then sauce and last cheese. Shake Parmesan cheese over it and sprinkle some dried basil too.
Cover with aluminium foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove foil and bake uncovered for additional 10 - 15 minutes or until hot and bubbly in the center. Let it stand for 10 minutes before serving.
